byebye sister ;(
My dearest sister went back to malibu yesterday. *sniff sniff*But on the UP side, she left me her laptop! HAHAHA, my plan worked! (pinkie pointed to the bottm left side of evil grin)
but really, i think i'll miss her. but it'll only be a couple of months till i see her, so no worries.
My mother pulled out a very VERY interesting article cut from the singapore straits times a few nights ago. it was entitled "Student, 17, saves man" or something like that. and a very familiar face was splashed across the article, haha. it was ESTHER! my cousin! OMG!
haha! like i would not have ever guessed that something like would've happened, it was extremely unexpected! so, if i got this right , the story goes something like this:
Esther was with her friends in Crystal Jade at Holland V., when she heard a loud scream at the nearby mama shop across the street. she dug through the petrified crowd only to find an elderly indian man lying on the ground, motionless. She then ran the CPR procedure that she learnt a number of years ago quickly, but surely thru her mind before boldly performing it to him. Peramedics arrived promptly and speed the elderly man to the nearby hospital. if it were not for the brave act of Esther, the man's heart would have stopped and would indefinitley be beyond help. Thus, Esther, has in effect, saved a man's life.
WOW! like crazy man... Apparently this news is circulating around the media like mad and has even been mentioned in Parliament... twice! (if ur reading this Esther, I'm really proud of u :))
so yeah, this is all i have time for now.. spring break is comin'! cant wait!
